QUIET RIOT Announce New Session Musicians
February 13, 2006QUIET RIOT drummer Frankie Banali has issued the following update via his official web site:
"To end the somewhat ongoing speculation on the QUIET RIOT 2006 lineup, for those who are interested, here is the latest news that I can offer:
"Session guitarist and personal friend Neil Citron will be recording with us on our next studio release. We have also enlisted our friend and guitarist Billy Morris [ex-WARANT] to perform with us on selected live dates in the same capacity as he has done in the past."
QUIET RIOT recently parted ways with guitarist Tracii Guns (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, ex-L.A. GUNS) less than a month after announcing his addition to the group. The split was attributed at the time to "the musical diversity of styles" which "would not work to our mutual satisfaction."
QUIET RIOT are currently in the studio in recording songs for their first new CD since the "Guilty Pleasures" album in 2001. An extensive tour is planned following the album's release.
